Taeniura lymma

The Gaby Rog Stingray visknuffel / Blue Spotted Stingray (Taeniura lymma), or Kuhl’s Stingray, is a member of Dasyatidae family. It can be found in the coastal waters of the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Pacific. It prefers sandy shallow waters where it can easily mask itself. Blue Spotted Rays feed on small fish, crustaceans as crabs and shrimp, molluscs as well as small fish. The species has a characteristic blue spotted olive-green body and two venomous stingers on the anterior section of the tail. While the Blue Spotted Ray’s venom is not lethal to humans, it certainly is very painful. It is a popular aquarium species due its beautifull coloration but is not easily kept in captivity.

De Gaby viskussens / visknuffel zijn gemaakt door het Poolse bedrijf Gaby. Deze kussen / knuffels zijn met de hand gemaakt en verwerkt. De kussens zijn verkrijgbaar in verschillende soorten en maten.

Zowel zoetwater vissen ( bijv. Snoek , Baars , Snoekbaars , Zeelt , karper ).

Als zout water vissen ( Merlijn , Barracuda , Dolfijn , Tuimelaar , Orka , Witte Haai ).

Als Aquariumvissen ( Kempvis , goudvis , Neon tetra , piranha )

Deze Gaby viskussens visknuffel zijn soms niet van echt te onderscheiden en de maten zullen zeker niet tegenvallen. Met viskussens van 25 centimeter tot wel 2 meter lengte aan toe . Leuk om als cadeau te geven aan een echte visliefhebber of uw vaste vismaatje.
